Dr. Matthew Grober is an integrative biologist at Georgia State University. His lab studies sexual plasticity and sex change in the blue-banded goby (and other model organisms where appropriate). His talk's title is "The Evolution and Development of Vertebrate Sexual Plasticity", which considers fundamental questions about why we commonly see sex change in marine fishes, but it is exceedingly rare in freshwater fishes or any other vertebrates.
