DuMond Conservancy: Amazonian Festival

Join the DuMond Conservancy at Monkey Jungle for the Amazonian Festival on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. The festival will be led by youth volunteers who will engage and educate the public about the Amazonian Rainforest and its ecosystem.

The festival will consist of a number exciting event. First, the festival will feature two guest speakers: Dr. Angela Maldondo, Project Director for Foundation Entropika, and Mireya Mayor, National Geographic Primatologist/Conservationist. It will also feature dance performances and music representing Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. Finally, Coral Reef High School will perform a youth scripted play: "Growing Up Owl Monkey".
