Fisheries Acoustics Workshop

The Fisheries Acoustics Workshop (BSC 6926) is being offered this semester for interested graduate students. It is held on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. on the Biscayne Bay Campus. The workshop covers the introduction and history of acoustics, environmental constraints of sound propagation, principles of scattering, estimation of distribution and biomass of organisms, tagging and tracking of fish and invertebrates, and echolocation.
